How is a complete check up done?
On the first day screening comprises:extensive haemogram based on the individual risk factors, containing tumour marker, analysis of stool and urine samples if requested. The blood analysis is carried out in our ultramodern and certified laboratory in Düsseldorf.
ultrasonography of the thyroid gland, cerebral blood-vessels, lymphatic glands, heart and thorax, abdominal organs, lower abdomen and vessels in the leg.
You should schedule about 2 hours for this.

Ultrasound examination of the lymph nodes
Detection of vasoconstriction and vascular calcification, risk assessment of stroke and other vascular diseases
Ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs
Examination of cardiac force, heart valves, congenital heart disease, circulatory problems, blood pressure, stress, evidence of heart attacks and heart failure
Ultrasound examination of the leg arteries
Early detection of diseases of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, abdominal vessels, stomach / intestine and urinary bladder with uterus / prostate
Detection of circulatory disorders, risk assessment of vascular diseases, varicose vein investigation
All ultrasound examinations are performed with the latest color-duplex ultrasound equipment by GE (General Electric), you can follow the examination on the patient monitor!
On the second day, you should again schedule about 2 hours, examination then comprises:
A stress ECG with oxygen measurement, for athletes with lactate measurements
A digital recording of the pulmonary function test with lung volumes and respiratory abilities
The check-up is rounded off by a detailed in-depth consultation discussing the results and giving personal advice concerning a healthier future way of living (including healthier diet and sporting activities).
A written documentation of all results and recommendations will of course be handed out to you.
